Job Summary

The Manager and Coordinator is responsible for the overall administration, leadership, and daily operations of a residential vocational training center. This role ensures a safe, supportive, and effective learning and living environment for all instructors, staff and trainees. The Manager will oversee staff, manage resources, coordinate training programs, and foster internal and external stakeholders and partnerships to achieve the center’s educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Administration

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential training center.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a high standard of training and
  • residential care.
  • Lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary team of trainers, residential staff, and support personnel.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and resource allocation.

2. Program Coordination

  • Coordinate the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of vocational training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry standards and participant
  • needs.
  • Schedule classes, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
  • Liaise with trainers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
  • Manage operations and instruction staff to help in the smooth delivery of services.

3. Student Welfare & Residential Life

  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and personal development of all residents, both staff and students.
  • Address disciplinary, behavioral, and welfare issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful residential community.
  • Organize orientation, counseling, and support services for trainees.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers, industry partners, educational institutions, and community organizations.
  • Promote the center’s programs and recruit new trainees.
  • Represent the center at meetings, events, and conferences, both domestic and overseas.

5. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, administration, or operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management software, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Bilingual (Vietnam/English).
  • Character traits should include honesty, decency and humility.
