Basic Requirements

• Must be a South Korean national (Korean passport holder)

• Native proficiency in Korean with a standard Korean accent

• Proficient in English (used for daily communication with the Berlitz

Thailand team)

• Holds a minimum 4-year university degree (B.A., B.Sc., or higher)

• Currently residing in Thailand, and able to travel and teach at various locations around Bangkok, if needed (Silom, Asok, Sathorn)

Willing to follow the teaching standards and methods set by Berlitz

• Has previous professional work experience and a good understanding of workplace etiquette and business culzure

• Open-minded and culturally aware, with the ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds

• Willing and able to teach a variety of students, including adults, teenagers, children, individuals, and groups

• Has a minimum availability of 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, depending on student demand

Training & Development

• IOP - Instructor Qualification Program (Training)

• Typically 7 - 10 days (depending on the number of instructor candidates

• Number of candidates / trainees varies from 2 - 8.

• IQP sessions run several times throughout the year (varies depending on Berlitz need for instructors and number of applicants). For details please speak with the Manager of Instruction at the 1st interview Blended training - online self-study modules and live training with trainer (online and/or face to face)

• Paid training - 4500 THB

• IQP is a "Qualification" program - candidates must successfully complete the entire program to be hired
