About the Mission

Join Berlitz Singapore in our mission to introduce international students to the diversity and uniqueness of Singapore. We are looking for energetic, experienced teachers who can create a fun and lively atmosphere where young learners feel confident making new friends and communicating in English while exploring the innovations of the Lion City.

Program Details

• Skill Focus: Public Speaking
• Theme: Green Technology (all teaching materials provided)
• Duration: 10 days of lessons delivered over a 12-day period.
• Class Times: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (includes a 10-minute break).
• Course Dates: 3 times per year (mid-April, early July, early October).
• Class Size: 10–15 students per group.
• Student Level: Approximately CEFR A2 proficiency.

Role & Responsibilities

• Instruction: Deliver 10 engaging in-class lessons (3 hours each).
• Curriculum Execution: Utilize prepared lesson outlines, teaching materials, and structured activities to meet lesson objectives.
• Student Evaluation: Complete brief individual student reports using a simple template.
• Engagement: Foster a supportive environment that encourages public speaking and an interest in sustainability/green technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Work Authorization: Must hold a valid work visa recognized by the Ministry of Manpower (MoM).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Certification: TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or an official teaching license.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience teaching children’s classes.
• Soft Skills: High levels of patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity are essential for working with international students.
